Aurora Borealis
The aurora borealis is one of the most impressive things that you can watch in Scandinavia. Sometimes only very fade, sometimes very bright and spectacular. It is always a challenge to get nice pictures of a bright and multi-coloured Aurora, as it mostly only happens when the sun is very active.
Sometimes it is even possible to watch the Aurora Borealis at low latitudes, i.e. in France, Germany, Poland, or in the middle of the USA. To increase your chances, you should check the various Aurora forecast sides, as there are:
- Today's Space Weather with actual data of the Sun's activity and the Earth's magnetic field
- Live data for the solar wind
